Tuition Fees

Adult Lessons Package: $190/4 weeks

This is our standard lessons package, consisting of one 45-minute private lesson once per week for four weeks. Please note that this is a pre-paid discounted package price and certain conditions apply (see below).

Children’s Lessons Package: $165/4 weeks

These 30-minute lessons are shorter, intended for younger children with shorter attention spans, or for those who are still testing the waters of their own interest level.

Weekly Specialty Lessons: $215/4 weeks

This higher tuition applies to lessons that require special equipment (i.e. Drum Set, Music Recording or Production Gear...), or deal in highly specialized musical subjects (i.e. Eastern Maqam Theory...). This tuition also applies to couples studying together, and to individuals wanting a longer session.

Single Lesson Tuition

Some of our clients opt for a single lesson when visiting from out of town, looking for help with a particular topic, or just craving a shot of musical inspiration. If you wish to take a single lesson, the following rates apply. All lessons are private, and times are as above.

Single Children’s Lesson: $55
Single Adult Lesson: $65
Single Specialty Lesson: $75

Lessons Policies

Tuition fees are due and payable when your lessons are scheduled. Continuing students should renew their tuition prior to starting each new 4-week block. Please note that your tuition package is based on your coming weekly at a regularly scheduled time.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please give at least 72 hours advance notice to both your regular instructor and the store. Tuesday students must notify us by Friday morning if they wish to have their lesson rescheduled.

Missed appointments and last minute cancellations will be charged as regular lessons. These are made up at your teacher’s discretion. Typically, your instructor will give you a longer lesson the following week to make up for missed lesson time. Tuition fees are non-transferable, non-refundable, and expire after 90 days.

Finally, our experience clearly suggests that it is less disruptive, and often highly beneficial, for a student to work with a substitute teacher from time to time, rather than miss his or her weekly lesson. For this reason, we may occasionally assign you an appropriate substitute instructor when your regular teacher is unavailable.

We work very hard to provide you- and countless other students- with the best possible learning experience available. When you commit to a lesson, we reserve both time and space for you in the studio, and your instructor commits a block of his or her schedule to come in and teach you. Please be considerate of this accommodation and respect your end of the commitment.

Thank you. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
